Assembled in a finished space under the stairs. This is the only angle I could get with the camera.
Since the angle of the ceiling was 45 degrees, the design all went from there with a heavy 45 degree chamfer on all the edges, and of course 45 degree miters to assemble all the 20 cubbies.
Cherry veneered with solid cherry edging on all. There were 20 diagonal dividers supplied.

With a divider in a cubbie, you can get a dozen bottles in it. Without it, 20 bottles. With the added space along the ceiling edge, the total capacity will range from 325 to 485 standard 3" bottles. (The grey squares signify boxed bottles which work as book ends so that bottles don't roll off. ) Once it was installed and the bottles started going in, we saw that different sized bottles changed the spacing very quickly based on the accumulated differences, which provided happy discussion on how to pick and place certain wines. (Any discussion about how to organize wine is a happy one in my books.)
